After the press excitement caused by the recent news that the Bears Faction forum is one of the most visited sites for the DoT we thought that it would be good to release some guidance for any faction or guild contacted by the press.

It is very simple.

Firstly do not assume that it is a hoax, LARP is becoming increasingly mainstream and there are genuine press opportunities. When you are contacted please do not answer them directly, inform them that you are part of the Lorien Trust organisation and you will pass their details on to the person who deals with these enquiries. Try and get


1. The name of the publication/press/organisation

2. The main contact name

3. The main contact's email and telephone number

4. What they want
Then write this up in an email (if it is a phone message) or forward the email enquiry to enquiries@lorientrust.com When the email has been sent please text 07435751095 with the message "press enquiry" and we will get in touch with them directly.
