We would like to remind all players that lammies that have become torn, badly damaged, or have any of the wording (including dates and power rating) obscured are invalid. This includes any lammies that appear as if they may have been cut or torn from a physrep. Invalid lammies discovered by a referee may be withdrawn, especially if this is part of the checking process at the entrance to the battlefield.

Replacements for Lammies damaged by accident or wear and tear can be provided if required, but in all cases the old lammies must be surrendered. Note that "tear on use" lammies where the inside of the lammie has become visible will be deemed to have been used or spoiled - if you have a damaged/deteriorating example of this type of lammie then you should request a replacement before it reaches this stage.
Note also that this replacement service will not be available during the morning prior to a battle occurring on the main battlefield - those who are able to provide this service will be busy with other duties - so please make sure you request replacement lammies in good time.
Any lammie presented to the checking process at the entrance to the battlefield which is found to be invalid is liable to be withdrawn without replacement - if in doubt, either get a replacement beforehand or do not attempt to bring the lammie onto the battlefield.

For “tick box” lammies (those produced through the Guild makes system) please consult the relevant guild for details on times when this service can be provided (Alchemists for special liquids; Archers for lammied bows and crossbows; Armourers for Armour, Shields, Weapons, and crafted/spell-tempered items).

For other lammies (those using the LT holographic paper) please go to Game Control and submit an item request form for the onsite office to provide a reprint.
The office will attempt to deal with your request in a timely manner, and we will endeavour to give priority to cases where you are unable to play your character without the lammie (e.g. Special Creature cards), but please note that in busy periods it may still take up to 3 hours (or more in exceptionally busy periods) to process your request.
We will try to inform you in advance if this is the case, but you may wish to (for example) make your request immediately before going and monstering, or before retiring for the evening so you can collect the new lammie in the morning – but note that requests submitted at or close to time-out will not necessarily be processed by time-in the following morning (we need to sleep as well).

On a separate but related note, please remember that both sides of a lammie need to be available for inspection – the back contains the validation stamp and may also contain additional text (e.g. specifying a required physrep, indicating that it cannot be shattered etc.)
This can be an issue particularly when attaching a lammie to the hilt or haft of a weapon, and it has become common in some places to attach the lammie using cable ties threaded through a pair of holes punched at each end – this requires one of the cable ties to be removed for the lammie to be inspected, which can cause significant delays (and usually destroys the cable tie).
It is fine to use one cable tie at one end, as the lammie can be lifted at the other end in order to access the back.
Alternatives to a cable tie at the end to be lifted include cord/string that can be easily untied (and retied afterwards); alternatively you can use an elastic band or loop of fabric etc. that is not threaded through holes punched in the lammie, but rather just covers the end of the lammie and can be rolled/slid off for inspection, then rolled/slid back into place to keep the lammie secure.

Thank you all for your anticipated cooperation.

One additional point:
Some characters require a loresheet in order to be played - e.g. sliding specials and certain Special Creatures.
If you play one of these characters then you must have with you the latest version of any loresheet(s) required, it must be legible, and must have name of the character to which it applies (matching that on the character card) written clearly in the relevant space.
If you are found not to have a valid loresheet that your character requires then you will not be permitted to play your character until you have obtained all the required loresheets.

Note that this does not include "lorecode" type loresheets (Identify/Diagnose Powers, Evaluate, Poison Lore, Potion Lore, Recognise Forgery, Sense Magic) - you may still play your character without these loresheets, although you will be unable to use the relevant skill.

Replacement loresheets and information on the current version numbers can be obtained from Game Control during its normal opening hours.
Game Control does normally remain open when a battle is occurring on the main battlefield, but you are still advised to ensure that you have any necessary loresheets beforehand - the battlefield entrance queue is not the best time and place to discover that you need a replacement.
